Templates, the glossary and the reading list. A template is republished here only after a project has used it twice, so everything on this page is proven in the journal rather than theoretical.
Templates
- Project page
- The hub overview: purpose, hypothesis, phase, the team and where to start. Numbers are computed, never typed.
- Timeline page
- Generated, not written. Every dated entry in the project, newest first, with reversals shown twice.
- Lessons learned page
- One sentence per lesson, grouped by theme, each with an evidence link. Superseded lessons stay, struck through.
- Architecture decision record
- Context, decision, alternatives, consequences, evidence, review date. Append-only.
- Field note
- Situation, what happened, next. 200 to 500 words, written the same day, never revised.
- Cost tracker
- A table by month and layer (Model, Data, Licence, Platform, People) with the date each price was true.
- Retrospective
- The hypothesis scored, what exists now, cost and value, the five decisions that mattered, what we would do differently.
- Role card
- Purpose, inputs it may read, outputs, forbidden actions, escalation, promotion criteria.
Glossary
- Skill
- A named capability: a prompt, the tools it may call, the documents it reads, the output it produces. It runs when invoked and stops. No memory between runs, no schedule.
- Agent
- A skill given a goal, a loop, memory and limits, running without a person pressing the button. It has a budget, a kill switch and a log.
- Autopilot
- A role, not a task. It holds the responsibilities a director holds, delegates to agents and reports to a named human. One per project, built last.
